“Back 2 Mac” is a communities-based organization made up of a dozen area churches, community service organizations, and local businesses working together to help make sure that no child is left to start the school year without the supplies they need to succeed.
“Back 2 Mac” will be held on Saturday, August 9th from 9-11 AM at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Virden. It will be a drive-through pick-up event.
North Mac parents who are needing help with the purchase of supplies are encouraged to sign-up their students now by clicking link below.
Or you can also pick up a registration form from the “Back 2 Mac” mailbox located in front of Steve O'Dell's Country Companies Insurance office on the north side of the Virden Square. Once completed, you can drop the form in the mailbox. Deadline to sign up is Friday, August 1st.
Any business, organization, or individual that wants to donate or know more about this event and how they can help should call 217-415-1354. Registrations will not be accepted over the phone— please use one of the methods listed above.
