The Girard Chamber of Commerce is looking to fill the position as Economic Development Coordinator.
    The position requires a self-motivated, positive, goal-oriented individual interested in real time study and implementation of economic growth programs for a small town.
    As coordinator, the individual will identify and develop programs for the improvement of the city of Girard, to include identifying and pursuing funding streams such as federal, state and private grants.
    The position will be provided through the federal Americorps VISTA program.
